Anyway, it's the adjoining property, but because we built close to the border (for the sake of the prime building spot), it's pretty close to us. It was an old 18th century farmhouse. The people who bought the land are not planning to build on that spot, but wanted to clear it anyway.
I was actually really sad to see it go down, it added character. The fire was a bit too close for comfort. But, hey, it's his property - not mine.
